Juventus will welcome Venezia to Allianz Arena for their Serie A Matchday 35 tie on Sunday afternoon with kickoff at 13:30.
Following a poor start and some inconsistency along the way Juventus managed to get themselves in the top-four of Serie A and are still looking to finish as high as they can in the Italian top-flight. They now sit just one point behind the third-placed Napoli with still four matches to go.
They have recently found their stride again as they have now gone four matches unbeaten across all competitions claiming three victories and one draw in the run. They are coming off back-to-back victories against Fiorentina (2-0) in the second leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final tie, and Sassuolo (1-2) in Serie A.
They will be looking to extend that run on Saturday and considering their opponents we expect Juventus to claim a routine victory here.
Venezia had a good start to their 2021/22 Serie A campaign, but along the way they seemed to have run out of steam and are yet to recover. The side has now failed to win in their last nine league matches drawing just one match, while suffering eight consecutive defeats in the process.
They are coming off a 3-1 defeat to Atalanta at a home last weekend and look set for an immediate return to Serie B as they now sit at the bottom of the table, although, only six points keep them adrift of safety and with still five matches to go Venezia have a chance and time to salvage their season.
Therefore, they need to end their poor run of form as soon as possible, but it will take some effort to stop Juventus here, a side they haven’t bettered in their last seven meetings.
