Ipswich Town and Lincoln City will face each other at Portman Road on Tuesday as both sides look to build on victories picked up at the weekend.

The hosts extended their impressive ru of form with a victory to strengthen their search for a top-six position in the League One table, while Lincoln ended a four-game winless run with a victory over Sheffield Wednesday.

Ipswich now find themselves in a push for a playoff place under the management of Kieran McKenna, despite having had an underwhelming start to the season.

They have won eight and lost just two of the 13 League One games since his appointment, and they now sit just five points outside of the playoff spot.

The Tractor Boys enter this fixture in a seven-game unbeaten run in the league, firstly bouncing back from a defeat to Sheffield Wednesday with a 1-0 victories over Gillingham and Doncaster Rovers.

Having risen back within five points of sixth place, McKenna’s side will look to continue building momentum with another victory on Tuesday which could see them climb up to eighth.
