Serie A champions Inter Milan and Coppa Italia winners Juventus will decide the fate of the 2021 Supercoppa Italiana in a high-stakes Derby d’Italia at San Siro on Wednesday night with kickoff at 23:00.
Inter Milan have made an impressive and solid campaign in defence of their Scudetto this season and currently lead the table with one point clear and a game in hand. They kicked off 2022 on a victorious note with a 2-1 win over Lazio on Sunday.
They head into the match in a good form as they have only lost one of their last 16 matches across all competitions, keeping 10 clean sheets in the run and are coming off a four-match winning streak that has seen them score 12 goals while conceding just one.
They will be looking to decorate their impressive campaign with the first silverware available in Italy when they battle Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana. The last time Inter won the cup was back in the 2010/2011 season and will be looking to end that drought here.

They head into the match on the back off an important 4-3 win against Roma last Sunday. Juventus were terrific in that match coming from behind to edge Roma in the seven goal thriller, where they scored three goals in seven minutes to complete the memorable comeback. The win left them in the fifth spot on 38 points, 11 points off the Serie A summit.
They will be turning their attention to an important Supercoppa Italiana fixture on Wednesday. The Old Lady have won the trophy a record of nine times so far and they claimed the title back last season after losing it to Lazio in 2019.
With their current form and their confidence boosting win on the weekend Juventus will fancy to make it back-to-back cup titles this year, but are taking on the most inform sides in the Serie A and hence this will be a very close fight.
