Hibernian will be looking to increase their winning streak to four matches in the Premiership on the bounce when they welcome Motherwell to Easter Road for their round 10 fixture on Saturday evening.

After winning 1-0 at away against St Johnstone on the opening day, Hibernian went four matches without a win in the Premiership, picking up two draws and two defeats in the run.

However, they seem to have found their stride now as they have won all their last three league fixtures against Kilmarnock (1-0), Aberdeen (3-1), and Ross County (0-2).

The run has seen them climb to fourth place in the standings on 14 points from eight matches, one point behind St Mirren in third and one point above seventh-placed Hearts. Therefore Hibernian will want to maintain their momentum as they look retain their top half place on the table.

Meanwhile Motherwell have been inconsistent this season, as they have mostly been alternating victories and defeats so far this season. They have won four and lost four of their nine Premiership matches and sit in the middle of the table.

They, however sit just one point behind their Saturday hosts and a win here it could see them climb to third place. A defeat, on the other hand, could leave them in the ninth spot. They will therefore be hoping for maximum points on Saturday and coming off a strong 5-0 win over Ross County will surely boost their confidence.
