Germany continues its preparations for the UEFA Nations League as they play a home friendly against side Turkey. The match schedules for Wednesday with kickoff at 9:45 pm.
Joachim Low’s side came from back to back draws since their return to action last month. Turkey continued their poor run of form in the competition while failing to pick up a win in their two games of the year.
Group 4A proved to be a hard pool for Germany this season under Low. The side played two consecutive draws to Spain and Switzerland. Jose Gaya scored a controversial last-minute goal to cancel Werner’s initial goal. Three days later, the side let a one-goal lead go with Silvan Widmer equalizing.
The finished at the bottom of Group A1 last time around. It looks like another stay at the bottom for the side with only Switzerland below them in the group rankings. The Swiss have only one point from six so far.
Senol Gunes is also having a hard time in charge of the Turk side after succumbing to a 1-0 loss to Hungary. The side followed with a goalless draw to Serbia. The Turks is currently third in Group B3, with Russia and Serbia lined up for their next matches. The side has a poor record against Germany, and it remains an uphill task this Wednesday.
