Genoa will desperately look to bounce back to winning ways when they welcome Juventus to Luigi Ferraris for their Serie A Matchday 36 tie on Friday night with kickoff at 22:00 EAT.
Genoa boosted their survival chances following a 1-0 victory against fellow relegation battlers Cagliari last month on 24th. However, they failed to build on the win last time out as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Sampdoria at away last Friday.
The defeat denied them a chance to get out of the relegation zone, but following Cagliari’s defeat last weekend still gives them a chance for survival as they are still just three points adrift of safety. To stand a chance though, the Griffin need to win all their remaining three games and hope that Salernitana and Cagliari drops points.
In their way stands Juventus a side they have lost to in their last six encounters across all competitions. Juventus have already secured top four finish this season but are still eight points away from the league leaders AC Milan with three games still go.
They still mathematically stand a chance to claim the Scudetto but that will mean they win all their remaining fixtures and hope that Milan, Inter and Napoli all drop points in all their remaining matches, especially AC Milan.
Juventus will focus on their game though and given that they have won four and a drawn one of their last six matches we expect them to claim a routine a victory here.
