Both Zwickau and QPR will vontinue their pre-season preparations when they lock horns on Wednesday evening.
Zwickau will be playing their fourth and final pre-season friendly on Wednesday before kicking off their league campaign in the German third tier against Halle at home on date 24 of this month.
The Germans have won so far won two of their three pre-season matches, battering Gera 9-0 in the opening friendly, before falling to a humiliating 6-2 defeat to Regensburg. They however, managed to bounce back last time as they overcame Vorwarts Steyr 2-1 on Tuesday last week.
Zwickau therefore will be looking for their third victory of the pre-season, a win that will keep their confidence high heading into the start of the league campaign.
Meanwhile this will be the second QPR preseason friendly, having kicked off the preparations on Saturday against Crawley in a fixture that ended in a 3-3 draw.
After Zwickau, QPR will take on Halle and Wealdstone in their remaining pre-season matches, before kickoff their EFL Championship campaign against Blackburn later this month.
QPR finished 11th in the Championship last season, missing out on the playoff spots with five places and nine points something they will be working on this season. With a new manager in place their target will be to themselves in the promotion places, and that will require them to use the pre-season maximally in terms of building form so they can hit the ground running.
