Fiorentina vs Inter Milan Match Analysis and Prediction

Two of the in-form sides in Serie A go head to head at Stadio Artemio Franchi this Tuesday, as Fiorentina Welcomes the champions Inter Milan for their fifth league round with kickoff at 21:45.

Fiorentina look a different side this season and are expected to cause the visitors some problems due to their current form that makes them dangerous opponents but will be given a stern test by the visit form Inter whose extra quality and experience should give them the edge.

Fiorentina have been looking a lot better under the new management of Vincenzo Italiano who has seen his side make a strong start to the season. Despite loosing the first match to Roma La Viola bounced back and have recorded three wins straight, leaving them further up the table than they were at this stage last season. They currently sit in the fifth place with nine points from their opening four matches with a +1-goal difference.

Vincenzo’s side head into the match off the back of a 2-1 victory over Genoa and they currently boast in a good form as they have only lost one of their last six matches across all competitions and Vincenzo will be hoping that his side will carry the confidence and momentum to this match although they face a tough opponent who they haven’t defeated in their last 10 matches losing out in six meetings.

Meanwhile Inter Milan also continued their strong start to the new Serie A campaign in a rampant mood as they cruised to 6-1 victory over their favorite opponents Bologna last weekend. The defending champions took the early lead through Lautaro Martinez who found the back of the net in the sixth minute while his striking partner Edin Dzeko netted a brace and Nicolo Barella, Milan Skriniar and Matias Vecino also got on the score sheet.

The win was a good way for the Milan giants to bounce back after their 2-2 draw with Sampdoria and their disappointing defeat in the Champions League opener at home. Inter displayed their quality against a previously unbeaten Bologna and made a statement of defending their Serie A glory.

Simone Inzaghi’s side are still unbeaten in Serie A this season recording three wins and a draw in their opening four matches which leaves them in the second spot with 10 points only two points adrift of the top-placed Napoli and head into the match in a good form as they have only lost one of their last six games across all competitions and Inzaghi will be hoping that his side will maintain their form in this fixture.
