Finn Harps will be desperate to bounce back to winning ways in the Premier Division when they welcome reigning champions Shamrock Rovers to Finn Park for their Matchday 22 tie on Friday.

Finn Harps have made a poor campaign in the Ireland Premier Division this season with the side managing just two wins from their 20 matches so far, while picking six draws and suffering 12 defeats in the process.

Shamrock Rovers extend their league lead as they claimed a 2-1 victory over St Patrick’s last Monday at away. With now 48 points from 22 games, Shamrock lead the table with 10 points in the clear, although they have played two games more than second-placed Dundalk.

The reigning champions will now be looking to extend their lead in the league with another positive result on Friday as seek to retain their title glory. Having already beaten their hosts twice this season, Shamrock should be confident of making three victories out of three on Friday.
