Finland vs France Match Analysis and Prediction

France having secured their place at Qatar, they are finishing their World Cup 2022 Qualifying campaign with a clash against second-place Finland on Tuesday.

Deschamps’ side will finish at the top of the section after crashing Kazakhstan eight in the weekend, while Finland are yet to assure themselves of a second-placed finish.

Despite having to play 10 men through the entire second half, Finland’s ten men swept aside a fill Bosnia & Herzegovina outfit to place themselves within touch distance of the World Cup playoffs.

Marcus Forss’ chested finish came a few minutes after Teemu Pukki failed to break the deadlock from the spot, and while the Norwich City man would not make the net ripple, Robin Lod and Daniel O’Shaughnessy completed the job for Finland.

Markku Kanerva’s side cannot overcome France to the top spot anymore but occupy the second position with the 90 minutes of football remaining.
