Faroe Islands vs Lithuania Match Analysis and Prediction

Both Faroe Island and Lithuania will be looking for their win in UEFA Nations League when they lock horns in their Group C1 third round at Torsvollur in Torshavn on Saturday night.

Both sides are considered underdogs in the group that also consist of Turkey and Luxembourg. Faroe Islands and Lithuania have already lost to Turkey and Luxembourg in their respective opening two matches.

The hosts open with an expected 4-0 defeat to group’s favorites Turkey at away last Saturday, before suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat to Luxembourg on Tuesday. Meanwhile the visitors opened with a 2-0 defeat to Luxembourg, before suffering a humiliating and expected 6-0 defeat to Turkey.

Now both Faroe Islands and Lithuania sit third and fourth respectively on zero points, and looks like they will be battling each for the third place. However, Lithuania will fancy their chances overcoming Faroe Islands and finishing to retain their status in League C.
