The Scottish Premiership continues this weekend with another important fixture as Dundee welcomes Hearts to the Dens Park on Saturday evening with kickoff at 18:00.
Dundee have faced a tough welcome back to the Scottish Premiership with club posting four wins, four draws and 10 defeats from their 18 league matches to collect 16 points, which have them sitting in the 10th with just two points above the relegation spots.
Dundee’s previous impressive performances that saw them win three of their last seven matches have recently been brought to halt and James McPake’s side will now head into the Saturday’s clast on the back of a three-match losing streak.
However, the Dark Blues will be confident heading into the match as they have been stronger in front of their fans throughout the campaign, with three of their four wins coming at home. They will also be aware of the fact that they did take a point from their previous encounter with the Jambos in the reverse fixture.
Hearts meanwhile have been absolutely impressive on their return to the top-flight with the club collecting 30 points from their 18 matches, which have left them occupying the third spot with five points above the fourth-placed Dundee United.
However, Robbie Nielson’s side head into the match in an inconsistent form as they alternating wins and defeats in their last six league matches and are coming off a 2-0 defeat to Rangers at home last weekend.
Hearts will therefore look to bounce back and will fancy their chances as they have been impressive on the road securing eight wins at away and scoring 26 goals in the run, a record only the Old Firm rivals can beat.
