Both Doncaster and Crawley will be looking to bounce back to winnings ways in League Two when they face off at the Eco-Power Stadium on Saturday.
Doncaster made a good start to League One as they claimed 14 points from their opening six fixtures, which left them sitting third on the table at the time.
However, they have since hit a worrying slump as they have lost all their last three league games, scoring just once in the run while conceding six times in return. As a result they have dropped all the way to 14th place in the standings, with now two points outside the playoff spots.
Gary McSheffrey’s side will now be desperate to end their current league slump as they look to get their campaign back on track. They are hoping to return to League One immediately but they will need to maintain consistency if they are to achieve their target this season.
Meanwhile Crawley have had a difficult time so far in League Two this season, as they have only managed to win once in their nine fixture, while picking up three draws and suffering five defeats in the process.
They currently sit 20th in the league standings on six points, three places and two points above the relegation zone. Kevin Betsy’s side suffered a 1-0 away defeat to Crewe last time out in League Two and followed that up with a 3-2 away defeat to Wimbledon in the EFL Trophy last Tuesday.
They will be desperate to bounce back on Saturday as they hope to avoid dropping into the relegation zone, but they have much to amend before the clash.
