Finland will be looking to return to winning ways when they lock horn against Wales in their kickoff fixture of Euro 2020 on Saturday at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen Denmark with kickoff at 19:00.
Denmark will open their Euro 2020 in an impressive form as they head into the match off the back of four wins and only one defeat in their last five games including the 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina and 1-1 draw against Germany in the international friendlies last week. They scored 14 goals and only conceded one goal in that run showing how good they are at both ends in the field and that they are ready to take on their opponents.
Meanwhile, Finland will kickoff their Euro 2020 in a poor form as they haven not won in any of their last six matches with a three-match losing streak and two draws. They will need a miracle and to work on their defending and attacking ends in the field and be more clinical if they are going to make it to the knockout stage of the competition.
Besides these two, Belgium and Russia are the other members of Group B, and while Belgium are the favorites to lead the group their still remains a chance for the remaining three sides to fight for the second place. Thus, a defeat for either side in the Saturday’s clash would leave one side facing the prospects of having to take the points off Belgium and Russia to make it to the knockout stage. Therefore, this is a must win situation for both sides.
