Milan will look to make it back-to-back win on the bounce in Serie A when they make a trip to Stadio Giovanni Zini to take on Cremonese in their matchday 14 tie on Tuesday night.
Cremonese have endured a difficult start back in Serie A, having now gone winless in their opening 13 games, drawing six times and suffering seven defeats in the process.
They currently sit 18th on six points, level on points with 19th-placed Sampdoria and one off Verona at the bottom. They are three points off safety meanwhile, and they need to start picking up wins if they are to avoid an immediate return to Serie B this season.
They however face the champions, Milan, who are playing catch-up to Napoli at the summit of the table. Rossoneri’s 2-1 setback at Torino saw Napoli open a five-point gap at the top of the league and it will take a lot to surpass them as they are currently flying high.
Stafano Pioli’s side did manage to bounce back last time out as they picked a 2-1 home win over Spezia on Saturday. They have now won their last two across all competitions as they were previously coming off a 4-0 win over Salzburg in the Champions League.
Therefore they have momentum and will look to extend their winning streak on Tuesday. They have failed to win at Stadio Giovanni Zini in their last three visits and will need to take things up a notch in this clash.
