All eyes turn to Wembley as Chelsea renew hostilities with Liverpool in the EFL Cup final on Sunday night with kickoff at 19:30.

Both sides are currently in tremendous forms and both are coming off confidence-boosting victories, with Chelsea overcoming Lille 2-0 in the Champions League a win that extend their winning streak to six matches across all competitions, while Liverpool cruised to an emphatic 6-0 victory against Leeds in the Premier League extending their winning streak to nine matches across all competition.
Both will be looking to maintain their winning streaks as they aim for the second available silverware in English football. The two have enjoyed some memorable battles over the years, but have been evenly matched in this season’s league games, with a 1-1 draw at Anfield in August followed by a 2-2 draw in Stamford Bridge in January.
Therefore, it will go down to who needs a trophy more at this point and that will be Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp’s team have arguably not won the amount of silverware their performances have deserved over the past three or four season and have actually yet to win an EFL Cup of FA Cup under the German. He has been showing signs of wanting to claim the cups this season and we believe that he his side are more than cable of claiming the silverware.
