Ghana will look to continue their quick start to the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers campaign when they travel to Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda, Angola to take on the Central Africa Republic in their second Group E clash on Sunday.
Ghana made a quick start to their AFCON qualifying campaign with a comfortable 3-0 win over Madagascar on Wednesday. They now lead the Group in goal-difference as they are level on three points with Angola who also won in their opening fixture against the Central Africa Republic.
Ghana will be in high spirits following the victory and we back them to claim their second win on Saturday against a side considered to be the group’s underdogs.
Central Africa Republic as mentioned earlier suffered a 2-1 defeat to Angola in their opening fixture and they are now third in the group level on zero points with rock bottom Madagascar. Even though is still early in the qualifying campaign CAR need a positive result on Sunday to give their advancing chances a boost.
However, it will take a lot of efforts to win against Ghana, the group’s favorites here, especially with CAR being in such a poo r form. They have failed to win their last five encounters across all competitions.
