Celtic welcome Rangers to Celtic Park for their latest Old Firm Derby in the Championship Group of the Premiership on Sunday afternoon with kickoff at 14:00.
This fixture is a potential title decider given that the two sides now sit six points apart in the Premiership standings. A win for Celtic will surely seal their 10th title in 11 seasons, as three points will take them to nine points above Rangers and with their superior goal difference, Rangers wont be able to catch up in three remaining matches.
Therefore, both sides will be in for a win on Sunday, with Celtic looking to confirm their title victory, while Rangers will be looking to reduce the gap between them and the Hoops to three points, which would increase pressure on league leaders.
Rangers claimed a 2-1 victory against Celtic in the semifinal of the Scottish Cup on 17th this month and they will be looking to draw confidence from that, however, Celtic will be buzzing in confidence having won twice over Rangers in the Premiership this season and claimed a 2-0 victory against Ross County last time out in the Premiership.
Rangers suffered a 1-0 defeat to Leipzig in the Europa League and will be under pressure to rotate the squad as they need they need their strongest squad next week Thursday in the second leg.
With Rangers playing cautiously we believe Celtic will move to capitalize on that and the home advantage is hugely important in this fixture.
