Bolton Wanderers will be looking to continue their good run of form in League One as they travel to Burton Albion on Tuesday.
A run of six victories from the last seven games has seen the Trotters climb to 10th in the league table, while Burton sit five points worse off in 13th place.
After climbing into the top half of the League One table, Burton have hit a difficult run of form in recent weeks, earning just a single point from their last three matches.
Following an away victory over Lincoln City, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side hosted Sheffield Wednesday at the Pirelli Stadium, and they fell to a 2-0 loss before being defeated away at Portsmouth last Tuesday.
Burton hosted Cambridge United at the weekend, and they will have been left disappointed by a 2-2 draw having led on two separate occasions through William Kokolo and Gassan Ahadme before being pegged back by Sam Smith.
Following their recent struggles, the Brewers have recently dropped into the bottom half of League One, although they would move back within two points of their opponents with a victory on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Bolton Wanderers enter the contest as one of the league’s form teams having won six of their last seven games.
Following a run of four straight League One defeats, the Trotters turned their fortunes around in an impressive style, winning their next four league matches, scoring 11 goals and not conceding in the process.
Bolton’s improvement was recently halted by a 1-1 draw away at Morecambe, before returning to winning ways with a home win over Charlton Athletic.
The Trotters are now in 10th spot with 45 points, and they will know they still have an outside chance of bridging their eight-point gap to the playoffs if they can continue their impressive form.

Burton Albion news
Gassan Ahadme should again lead the line for Burton, as he has been trusted since Daniel Jebbison was recalled from his loan spell with the Brewers, in which he scored seven league goals.
Hasselbaink should again deploy a back three of John Brayford, Sam Hughes and former Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.
Bolton Wanderers news
With Evatt expected to make minimal changes, Oladapo Afolayan will hope to regain his starting spot, while Amadou Bakayoko should again be handed a starting role.
Meanwhile the back three of Ricardo Santos, George Johnston and Gethin Jones will remain untouched, with three having shone since Bolton’s upturn in form.
Prediction and Odds
Bolton head into the game in an impressive form, and we see them continue with their winning ways and pick up their first victory over their hosts.
Seemingly lacking confidence, Burton do not seem capable of stopping their visitors who look to be gaining momentum in each game, hence an away win.
