Manchester United will be looking to make it three Premier League victories when they travel to Turf Moor on Tuesday evening to face Burnley.
The hosts are currently sitting at the bottom of the table on 13 points, having won just once in the league this season, while the Red Devils are 4th, one point clear of fifth-placed West Ham United.
Burnley failed to move off the bottom of the Premier League table on Saturday, having picked up goaless draw against Watford at Turf Moor.
The Clarets have won one, drawn 10 and lost eight of their 19 league games this season to collect 13 points, which has left them three points behing 17th-placed Norwich City.
However, Burnley have two games in hand on both 19th-placed Newcastle United and 18th-placed Watford, which makes it early for them to worry despite their struggles this season.
Sean Dyche’s side have lost each of their last three games against Manchester United, including a 1-0 defeat in the corresponding game last season, and they have not defeated the Red Devils at home since their 1-0 victory in August 2009.
Meanwhile, Manchester United moved into fourth position with a 1-0 victory over West Ham before the break, with Macus Rashford’s late goal securing the three points.
However, the Red Devils will this contest off the back of a disappointing result, having lost on penalties to Middlesbrough in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Friday.
Manchester United have the Champions League as the only realistic chance of silverware this season, as they prepair to take on Atletico Madrid in the last-16 stage of the competition.
The Red Devils have picked up 19 points from their 11 away Premier League games this season, and they are unbeaten on the road in the league since losing 4-1 at Watford.
