Bromley vs Aldershot Town Match Analysis and Prediction

With both sides looking to return to winning ways, Bromley and Aldershot go head to head at Hayes Lane on Tuesday.

The hosts are currently in a battle for a top-ten finish, while Aldershot Town sit 20th in the National League standings after consecutive defeats, although without the threat of relegation.

Having picked up 49 points frm the opening 28 matches of the National League campaign, Bromley lokked to have an outside chance of making a late push for the playoffs, but they have since seen their form take a sharp dip.

The Ravens have now won only two of the last 10 league matches, while only picking up nine points in the process.

After a 2-0 win away at Eastleigh, Andy Woodman’s side head into Tuesday having failed to win either of their last two matches, firstly playing out a goalless draw at home to Maidenhead United, before losing 2-0 away at Boreham Wood.

Meanwhile, Aldershot Town have had to battle through a mixed season in England’s fifth division, picking up just 10 wins and 37 points from their 39 matches so far.

Two of those victories came back-to-back in April, as they firstly defeated Boreham Wood 2-1, courtesy of goals from Mikael Ndjoli and Jacob Berkely-Agyepong.

They added to that with a 2-0 success away at Yeovil Town, with Giles Phillips and Ryan Glover getting on the scoresheet, but have since failed to add any further victories and head into Tuesday off the back of consecutive defeats.

Following a loss to Dagenham & Redbridge, they lost 2-1 away at Solihull Moors last time out, leaving them 20th in the National League.

While they sit comfortably with a 17-point lead over the bottom two with five games remaining, Mark Molesley’s side may not be entirely pleased with their current position in the standings.

Bromley news

Bromley’s Michael Cheek is expected to lead the line once again, while centre-back Byron Webster is expected to return to the back line alongside Chris Bush after being named on the bench on Saturday.

Liam Trotter should also be given the nod from the outset, as he will be bringing quality and experience.

Aldershot Town news

Aldershot welcomed winger Ryan Glover to action from a suspension last time out, and he will be pushing for a start after coming off the bench in that game.

Centre-backs Kodi Lyons-Foster and Giles Phillips have been relative mainstays throughout the season and should again partner up at the heart of the defence.

Prediction and Odds

Aldershot have been struggling for momentum this season with their away record being more wanting, and they will be looking to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat last time out.

Meanwhile, Bromely have been the stronger side over the course of the season and we back them for a win.
