Both Brighton and Leeds will be desperate to bounce back to winning ways when they face off this Saturday at the American Express Community Stadium with kickoff at 18:00.
Brighton made an impressive solid start to the Premier League claiming four wins in their opening six matches, while registered one draw and defeat in the process and were occupying the Champions League spots at the time. However, a run of six matches without a win in the recent weeks has seen Brighton drop to the 9th spot in standings with six points adrift off the Champions League spots.
Graham Potter’s side head into the match off the back of a 2-0 defeat at Aston Villa last weekend and therefore, will be looking to return back to winning ways in this fixture. The Seagulls are expected to find courage in their improvement on last season’s 16th place.
Meanwhile Leeds have experienced a tough campaign this season, with the club failing to build their last season’s strong, solid and impressive campaign that ended on a high note. Marcelo Bielsa’s side has been poor this season recording just two wins in their 12 matches, while registering five draws and five defeats in the process. They currently face the threat of falling to the relegation zone as they stand just three points outside the zone in 17 on 11 points.
The Whites head into the match in an average form having won one, drawn one and lost one of their last Premier League matches and are coming of a 2-1 defeat at Tottenham where they looked to be on course for an impressive result, with Daniel James sending the Whites ahead but Antonio Conte’s side managed to turn the game around.
Therefore, Bielsa’s men will be disparate to register a win in the Saturday match as the three points could help them avoid the drop zone.
