Everton are travelling to West London on Sunday to face Brentford as they look forward to win in the Premier League for the first time since the end of September.
The Toffees are in the 11th spot in the table, collecting 15 points from their first 12 matches of the season, while Brentford are 14th, having collected 13 points from their opening 12 games.
Brentford have won three, drawn four and lost five of thier 12 league matches this season , collecting 13 points, leaving them 14th in the table heading into the next fixtures.
Collectively, it has been a positive start of the season for the promoted team, but they recent form is slightly concerning, as they have picked just one point out of the possible 15.
Truely, Brentford have no victory in the Premier League since the begining of October, and they have lost four consecutive matches to Chelsea, Leicester City, Burnley and Norwich City between October 16 and November 6.
Sunday’s fixture will be the first encounter between these two teams in the league since February 1954.
Everton are heading into the match off the back of a 3-0 defeat to Manchester City last weekend, which followed a barren draw at home to Tottenham Hotspur prior to the international break.
They made an impressive start to the season under new head coach Rafael Benitez, but fact is that it has been a tough few weeks for the Merseyside club.
The Toffees have had no victory in the league since defeating Norwich City on 25th September, and they have lost four of their five in the league to descend in the table.
Rafael Benitez’s side are 11th in the division, just four points behind sixth-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers, meaning that it could be posible for the club to move to the European positions.

We could see this as an open game with both teams being able to score. However, Everton’s absentees could put them at a disadvantage.
With Everton fully aware that if they lose Brentford would take their position in the table, they will put effort in the game. So we could predict a draw or home win.
