Bundesliga will kick start with the champions, Bayern Munich taking on Borussia M’gladbach at the Borussia Park this Friday the 13th August with kickoff at 21:30.
Both sides are in a new era and are under the lead of new managers. Gladbach is under Adi Hutter after the departure of Marco Rose to Borussia Dortmund. Bayern München on the other hand took RB Leipzig’s manager Julian Nagelsmann.
Bayern haven’t had a good pre-season under Nagelsmann assumedly due to the European championships. Nagelsmann had the second place last season 13 points behind Bayern while managing RB Leipzig.
Gladbach have had good start in the pre-season campaigns and are looking forward to change the last season’s performance with a tremendous positive start in this match.
This will not be an easy start for Bayern. Gladbach has beaten the Bavarians at home the last two times. The new Gladbach head coach Adi Hütter – who came from Eintracht Frankfurt – has also beaten Bayern the last two times with his former team.
Bayern Munich are unbeaten in nine consecutive opening league games and should add to their tally in this fixture. Bayern will expect to have too much for Gladbach at this early age of the season, having beaten Die Fohlen by six goals and four goals in two of their past three matches.
