Bolton Wanderers vs Lincoln City Match Analysis and Prediction

Bolton Wanderers will be looking to make it back-to-back victories in League One when they welcome a struggling Lincoln to Macron Stadium on Tuesday night with kickoff at 23:00.

Bolton Wanderers have made an inconsistent campaign this season with the side that saw them spend most of the first half of the season in the bottom half and mid-table. However Ian Evatt’s has lead his side into a turnaround that has seen them claim seven wins a draw and only two defeats in their last 10 League one matches, which has seen them rise to 10th place in the standings with 48 points from 33 games.

They are coming off a confidence-boosting 4-0 victory against AFC Wimbledon at home last Saturday with the one-sided affair being a perfect response to their  3-1 defeat to Burton in their previous match that saw their seven-match unbeaten run come to an end.

Evatt’s side will now be looking to build on the Saturday victory as they aim at getting close to the playoff spots with now just seven points keeping the away. They will fancy their chances as they are in good home form having won all their last five home matches and will also draw confidence from their 1-0 win over their opponents in the reverse fixture.

Meanwhile Lincoln have made an inconsistent campaign this season with the side recording nine wins, eight draws and 14 defeats from their 31 matches to collect 35 points which have left them sitting in the 17th spot, four places and four points above the relegation zone.

They continued to struggle for form in the league as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Doncaster Rovers at the LNER stadium in their previous league fixture last Tuesday. The Imps have now failed to claim three points in four of their last five League One matches suffering three defeats in the process.

Sincil Bank will now be hoping that his side can bounce back to winning ways as they stand a possible relegation dugout and a defeat on Tuesday will do just that,
