Bologna vs Fiorentina Match Analysis and Prediction

Bologna will continue their search for the first win of the campaign when they welcome Fiorentina to Renato Dall’Ara for their Serie A Matchday Six tie on Sunday.

Bologna have had a difficult start to the campaign as they have struggled to get their campaign up and running and are one of six teams without a win in Serie A this season. They were held to a 2-2 draw by Spezia last time out, which led to the dismissal of manager Sinisa Mihajlovic at the helm after three and a half years in charge.

The Rossoblu currently sit 16^th in the league standings on three points from five matches, one point off the relegation zone and three outside the top half. They will be looking get off their campaign on Saturday as they seek to avoid an early relegation battle.

Meanwhile Fiorentina have not fared much better than Bologna this season, falling off the pace after a positive start to the campaign.

The Violas have failed to win any of their last four league matches since beating newly-promoted Cremonese on the opening day. They have picked three draws and one defeat in the run and currently sit 11^th on six points in the league standings.

They have played out back-to-back 1-1 draws in their last two outings, first against Juventus in the league and then against Rigas Futbola in the UEFA Europa Conference League. They deserved to win both games but were guilty of wasteful finishing.

As they return their focus on Serie A this weekend Fiorentina will be keen to get their campaign back on track, and having completed a double over Bologna last season, they should feel confident of bouncing back here.
