Boavista vs. Guimaraes Match Analysis and Prediction

Boavista will be looking to win their second game in a row when they play host to Vitoria de Guimaraes on Friday, with kickoff at 10:15 pm.

With two games remaining in the season, Boavista is in 10th place in the Primeira Liga. Although they will most likely improve on last season’s 13th-place finish, they’re hoping to move into the top half of the table before their campaign ends.

After suffering back-to-back defeats, Boavista returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Moreirense on April 20. Kenji Gorre scored first for Boavista, but Rafael Martins tied the game at one apiece in the 88th minute.

However, Petar Musa netted what would prove to be the game-winning goal in the 90th minute.

Despite their 3-2 win over FC Porto last weekend, Os Axadrezados have won just one home league game in 2022, while they have drawn more home matches than any other team in the Primeira Liga this season.

Meanwhile, Vitoria de Guimaraes is currently in sixth place and is on course to qualify for Europe next season. However, they’re four points behind fifth-placed Sporting Lisbon and have just six games left in their Primeira Liga campaign.

Although they have avoided defeat in their last three matches, the Vimaranenses dropped four points in their previous two games.
