Barnsley will host Nottingham Forest at Oakwell Stadium this Wednesday in the 10^th round of EFL Championship.

These two teams are only 3 points apart Barnsley on top of the opponents with 8 points at the 20^th position. Markus Schopp is going through transition with the club and this would make it hard to appear in the second playoffs in a row.

Nottingham had earlier gotten their maiden win of the season ten days ago when they saw off Huddersfield Town 0-2 on the road under the caretaker manager. Forest lie in the relegation zone with only five points from the nine fixtures but the presence of Cooper might pay at the long run.

Nottingham however, seem to be on a better form having collected the 4 points out of the five from the last two fixtures. Barnsley will be expecting a tough match with both having the need to escape to the mid table.
