An out of form Barcelona look to collect themselves this weekend when they take on Levante in the La Liga. The match schedules for Sunday at Camp Nou, with kickoff at 5:15 pm.
The fall from grace is evident for the Catalan giants, who are currently 7th in the table, which is a disappointing 0-0 draw to Cadiz. On the other hand, Levante is 16th on the table ranking while coming back from a 2-0 loss to Celta Vigo.
After losing two of their five matches, Barcelona is in a deep hole and only manages to win one. They’re currently sitting in seventh place with just nine points total- seven behind league leaders Real Madrid who have an additional game left on their schedule for the season.
It’s not all bad news, though. Next weekend, the Blaugrana will be playing host at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium when they take on Los Blancos, which has usually always been pretty challenging for Ronald Koeman.
On the other hand, Levante has struggled in La Liga this season, drawing two matches and losing four. They are currently in 16th place with only one point ahead or behind the relegation zone, but their worst part is that they haven’t won a game yet.
Paco López’s men will be looking forward to hurting Barcelona on Sunday. It had become one of the most anticipated fixtures between these teams since the 2010s when Pep Guardiola coached Barça against Jose Manuel Gimenez.
