Both AZ Alkmaar and FC Twente will look to maintain their strong starts to the 2022/23 Eredivisie campaign when they lock horns at the AFAS Stadion in their round six tie on Sunday.

AZ Alkmaar opened their Europa Conference League campaign with a narrow 1-0 victory over Dnipro-1 at the Kosicka Futbalova Arena on Thursday. The win extended their unbeaten run to nine matches across all competitions while are now off back-to-back wins as they were previously coming off a 3-0 away win over Emmen in Eredivisie.

The two sides are currently evenly matched and also their recent head to head record will suggest the same and thus a draw looks likely to be the outcome. However, Alkmaar are in string home form currently having won eight and drawn two of their last 10 games on home turf and will surely be fancying their chances on Sunday.
