Atalanta will look to extend their impressive start to the new Serie A campaign when they welcome newly-promoted Cremonese to Gewiss Stadium for their Matchday Six clash on Sunday.
Atalanta enjoyed a strong start to the campaign and are among the only three sides that remain unbeaten in Serie A so far this season. They have won four and drawn one of their five matches and currently sit at the top of the table, two points ahead of Napoli and Milan.
La Dea’s form heading into this game has them set as strong favorites to pick up another win with a three-match winning streak in the bag. They have looked solid in front of goal in that streak having scored six goals, while conceded just one.
They also remain unbeaten at home this season and claimed a 3-1 win over Torino in their previous league fixture at Gewiss Stadium and they should fancy their chances on Sunday.
Meanwhile Cremonese has found life difficult on their return to the Italian top flight. They remain winless in their opening five matches, suffering four defeats and drawing one in the run.
They currently sit 19th in the league standing, one point ahead of rock-bottom and pointless Monza, who are also newly-promoted this season. They target this season is to survive Serie A, but they need to turn around their fortunes as soon as possible if they to retain top flight football.
