Arsenal Women will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season when the play host to Zurich Women at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.
While the hosts kicked off the Women’s Champions League group stage with an impressive 5-1 victory over Lyon, the Swiss visitors were beaten 2-0 by Juventus.
Including last season, Arsenal are unbeaten in their previous 11 competitive matches, while their seven games this season have resulted in six wins and one draw.
The Gunners kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 3-2 aggregate victory over Ajax to progress to the group stage where they have been drawn alongside Juventus, Lyon and Zurich.
They began the group stage with an away game against the reigning European Champions Lyon, but rather than struggling against the French side, they cruised to a statement victory.
Beth Mead and Caitlin Foord both scored a brace, while Frida Maanum also found the back of the net to secure an impressive 5-1 away win.
A 2-0 win followed at the weekend when they took on Liverpool, as they will now have the chance to record a sixth successive victory across all competitions on Thursday.
On the other hand, Zurich are in search for their first point of the group stage after losing 2-0 at home to Juventus last week.
As Zurich found out aagainst Juventus, the group stages will offer far tougher challenge, and they will need to be at their very best to compete with the likes of Arsenal
Inka Grings’ side bounced back from their defeat in their group opener to beat Baar 10-0 at the weekend to secure their spot in the third round of the Swiss Cup.
Zurich may find it difficult to get a positive result against an Arsenal side who have won their last five matches 13-1 on aggregate.
