Following their 3-0 defeat against Latvia last time out, Andorra will be returning to their home soil to take on Moldova for a UEFA Nations League contest.
While the hosts began the current edition of the Nations League with a defeat, Moldova started the campaign with an away win over Liechtenstein.
Having finished bottom of their League D group in the opening two editions of the Nations League, Andorra would have been hoping to begin the current campaign on a positive note.
However, any prospect of optimism was overruled inside nine minutes of their League D opener after Roberts Uldrikis gave Latvia an early lead.
Andorra managed to hold their opponents to that goal until the 77th minute when Uldrikis scored his second goal of the game before Janis Ikaunieks grabbed his from the penalty spot to wrap up the points.
As a result of the defeat to Latvia, Koldo Alvarez’s side have lost their last four Nations League matches by an aggregate 13-1 scoreline.
Meanwhile, Moldova are seeking to earn a promotion after being relegated from League C in the previous edition of the Nations League.
One point from six League C matches saw Moldova drop to the bottom tier of the competition, but their promotion bid kicked off with a flying start through a 2-0 away victory over Liechtenstein on Friday.
Ion Nicolaescu put the visitors ahead with his spot-kick in the fifth minute, and although the lead remain a narrow one for majority of the game, Vadim Bolohan scored in stoppage time to secure all the three points.
The result gave Moldova their first away win since November 2018, and they will be hoping to pick up another positive result on Monday before they return home for a contest with Latvia and the reverse match against Andorra.

Andorra news
Koldo Alvarez could opt for a slight alteration to his defensive line, with Joan Cervos expected to drop into left-back after featuring in midfield against Latvia.
Cervos place could be filled by Andorra’s second-highest appearance maker Marcio Vierra, while Jordi Alaez is expected to continue his forward partnership with striker Albert Rosas.
Moldova news
Dorian Railean will retain his spot between the posts after making only his second international appearance in the 2-0 win over Liechtenstein.
Moldova are expected to make minimal changes for Monday’s contest, although Dmitri Mandricenco may come into the side to replace Marius Iosipoi, while Nicolaescu will retain his place in the forward line.
Prediction and Odds
Despite Andorra having won in the most recent encounter between the two sides, Moldova will take encouragement from their previous record over the Tricolors.
Moldova will also have confidence after their victory over Liechtenstein last time, and we feel the visitors will again pick up all three points on Monday.
