Anderlecht will be looking to claim their second win of the Europa Conference League Group B when they play host to FCSB at Lotto Park on Thursday.
The hosts could move up to second place in the group with a win here, while their visitors need three points to stand any chance of preogressing to the knockout rounds.
Anderlecht kicked off their European campaign in good style, defeating Silkborg 1-0 at home in their opening match before drawing 0-0 in their first game against FCSB away in Bucharest.
However, two successive defeats to the confirmed Group B winners West Ham United leaves them third in the section, two points behind Silkeborg in second.
First-half goals from Said Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen gave the Hammers a 2-0 lead at the break at the London Stadium, with a penalty from Sebastiano Esposito in the 89th minute proving just a consolation in a 2-1 defeat.
With Silkeborg having to make the difficult trip to England themselves on Thursday, Anderlecht will be hoping that they can capitalise on what could be a defeat for the Danish side, with a win good enough to move them one point above the fellow Group B side into second place.
Meanwhile, FCSB have so far struggled in the Europa Conference League, picking up just one point in four matches, a return that leaves them bottom of the group at this stage.
As such, qualification for the knockout stages seems very unlikely, but it is still about possible they win their last two matches and Anderlecht defeat Silkeborg in their final game.
However, their form does not bode well, losing 5-0 on aggregate to Silkeborg in both of their last two games in the competition, taking their record to just one goal scored and 13 conceded in Europa so far.
Anderlecht vs FCSB head to head
These two teams have previously met on just one occasion in the Europa Conference League on September 15, where they played out a goalless draw.
