Aberdeen will be looking to claim their second victory this season when they welcome Motherwell to Pittodrie for their Scottish Premiership Matchday four tie on Saturday evening.
Aberdeen had a mountain to climb on the opening day as they visited the reigning champions Celtic, where there lost 2-0. However, they managed to bounce back on the second day as they beat St Mirren 4-1 at home last Saturday.
They have now lost just one of their last six competitive matches this season, winning all the other five and will be looking to build on that they seek another positive result in the Premiership.
The Dons have not lost their last five home matches, winning the last three in a row and should be confident of extending the run on Saturday evening.
Meanwhile Motherwell opened the new Premiership campaign positively as they claimed a 1-0 win at St Mirren. However they failed to build on the win when St Johnstone came calling last Saturday as they went down 2-1, which increased their poor form having now lost three of the last five matches.
The Steelmen will now be looking to end their poor form and bounce back on Saturday, and having won three of their last four Premiership matches at Pittodrie, they will confident of claiming a positive result here.
