Both Aberdeen and Livingston will be for their third win of the season when they face off at the Pittodrie Stadium in their Matchday five tie on Saturday.
The two sides have both won two and lost two of their opening four matches with Aberdeen winning against St Mirren and St Johnstone while losing out to Celtic and Motherwell, whereas Livingstone edged Dundee United and Hibernian while fell to Rangers and Motherwell.
They are just separated by a goal-difference on the league standings with Aberdeen sitting in fifth, while Livingstone are placed seventh. The two finished in the bottom half last season and they both are eyeing a top half finish this season.
Therefore we expect both sides enter this game all guns blazing a for a victory as they both look to strengthen their bid for a top six finish in this early stages of the campaign. They are evenly matched for the Saturday clash, although Aberdeen have a dominant side in this fixture and they will fancy their chances.
They however need to be on top of their game as Livingston have won their last two league encounters and they also feel they have a chance of extending the run on Saturday.
