Euro 2020 continues with Sweden taking on Slovakia in their Group E second matchday following positive results in their opening fixtures. The match schedules on Friday at Saint Petersburg Stadium with kickoff at 16:00.
Sweden head into their second fixture of euro 2020 having benefited defensively in holding Group’s E favorites Spain in a stalemate draw in their first fixture and will aim to build on that point as they come into the match full of confidence and in a strong position to advance for the first time having failed to reach the knockout stages since 2004.
The Swedes are in a good form following their six-match unbeaten run including a five-match winning streak and the 0-0 draw to Spain and are the favorites to salvage all the three points in the Friday’s clash.
Slovakia on the other hand are at the top of Group E standings currently following their famous and crucial 1-2 win against Poland in their opening fixture of Euro 2020. The Falcons emerged triumphant in their Monday’s clash following a decisive goal in second half from Inter Milan’s center-back Milan Skriniar in which he beautifully controlled a 20-yard shot on the turn and secured the famous win as they pursue a repeat of their progress to the last 16 in France five years ago.
Similarly, the Falcons are in good form following their six-match unbeaten run across all competitions and will be keen to continue and maintain this run in their Friday’s fixture.
