Tottenham and Chelsea will be head on today at 9:00 GMT in the iconic Wembley Stadium. This is the first leg of the EFL Cup semifinal clash and Tottenham have the upper hand thanks to the 3-1 thrashing they meted out to the then-unbeaten Chelsea in their last Wembley encounter.
Since then, Chelsea’s ship hasn’t been as steady as it ought to be. They have lost twice (to Wolves and Leicester)putting their stellar record on the shelf.
Spurs, on the other hand, have won three of the last five home games against Chelsea and have lost only one of those games.
Nonetheless, Chelsea has had to put aside EPL leaders, Liverpool, and still have the depth and reputation needed to give Spurs a hard run for their win.
