Barcelona will be looking to continue in their winning ways in La Liga when they travel to Estadio El Sadar to take on Osasuna in their Matchday 14 tie on Tuesday night.
Barcelona are coming off a 2-0 home win over Almeria in La Liga last Saturday. The Catalans have now won all their last four league matches on the bounce and the last win saw them climb top of the league with two points in the clear, although, they have a game in hand on Real Madrid in second. (Madrid are playing tonight and will go back on top with a win.)
Xavi’s side are targeting to push Madrid all the way for the title this season and will look to keep on winning on Tuesday. They have not lost to Osasuna in their last four league matches, picking up three victories in the run, and they are unbeaten at Estadio El Sadar in their last six visits. They should therefore fancy their chance on Tuesday.
Osasuna, meanwhile, picked up a confidence boosting 2-1 away win over Celta Vigo last Saturday, thanks to an Ezequiel Avila’s brace on either side of Iago Aspas’ consolation effort.
Los Rojillos have now won three and drawn one of their last four La Liga matches a run that has seen the climb to fifth place in the league standings, with now one point outside the top four-places.
A win for Osasuna on Tuesday could seem them climb to third place in the league standings something they will be keen on, although, they play a flying Barcelona and will need to at their best if they are to get anything out of the clash.
